Funny trades from the server.

So I joined the trade server today to check out how things were going and maybe help increase the player count a bit. Things were going pretty good; I traded some weapons for other weapons and gave away 2 of my own in contests. Someone invited me to a trade and tried his best to swing this deal:

Trilby + nv beanie
Trilby + parasite
Trilby + parasite +dueling game
Trilby + parasite + crate
Trilby + 2crates +dueling game + parasite.

At first I kindly declined saying I wasn't too fond of Scout of Pyro, but he kept trying to work out a trade I wasn't too fond of. I got tired after 10 minutes (and being kicked for being afk trading by the autokick) and eventually just broke down our item values for him and told him I could get more if I wanted to trade them. Bless his little heart, he kept trying to get me to make the trade, with such convincing points as "cmon", "this is a good deal", and "do it". Finally he gave up and left, and the logs I thought I'd copied for hilarity turned out to have not saved properly.

Anyone else run into some guys who offer funny trades on our servers?

Keep in mind that this is my dream hat, pyromancer with hearts. I've gotten random offers of....5buds+1bills (twice), and an offer of sunbeams Beanie....I declined.
Maybe I should've pulled the trigger on the bp expander trade O.O

Someone joined the server asking for a Direct Hit today. I offered to trade him one and he said he'd trade 2 refined for it. No troll. Crazy!

He was pretty surprised when I told him I'd happily trade it for a scrap, and we ended up swapping my DH for 2 random weapons from him, though he kept trying to give me 3.

I can never seem to run into people needing weapons anymore.

Picked up a Strange Kunai for 2 Overdoses, a Solemn Vow, and a Kunai today.

I count that as waaaay in my favor, because I've been trying to move those damn uber update weapons for over a week now.

i saw someone buy a max head for a nv hound dog. i was so jelly.
f2p guy freshly premium didnt know max was valuable and only thought it was ugly and complained about it.

when i was a noob tf2 player, someone wanted a sandman, i had a vintage one, and the guy offered an unusual coupe disaster with searing plasma, i took the trade but i didnt know what it was worth, so i gave it to my cousin basically for free, i still regret that, and im rather poor when it comes to trading
