I'm noticing over the last couple of days the new heavy mini gun is pretty ridiculous. I suggest we bring in goomba stomp. They heavy is disrupting the natural order!

I have killed soooo many people using the brass beast with the regular minigun because of the long spinup time. It's really not that big of a problem at all. They are also about as easy to snipe as a large, non-moving object. Yes, you can't run in circles around them as a scout to kill them because 2 bullets kills you, but there are plenty of easy ways to kill them.

On the over-powered note, anyone want to take bets on how long it is before the Steel Fists are nerfed? They are nasty on payload maps.

I wish I was able to give input. Bad computer plus inevitable shitty ping plus no good computer until February makes me a sad panda.

It's easy, if you spin up before they do (with the brass beast), you kill the other heavy even if he has a medic healing him. If both of you spin up at the same time, you still win, unless there is a medic helping him out.

So essentially, Brass Beast who spun up first > Sasha with medic, while Sasha > natasha with medic. The only way to fuck with that is if someone gets either random crits, a buff boner, someone gets pissed on, a kritzkreig, or a uber.

I think Sasha with medic still beats brass beast who spun up first, although it does depend on how much of a drop you go on the guy.

goombah crashes the server, for this reason it was taken off in the first place. I dont think its a good idea to ever put it back on the main slaybox. The server is pretty popular the way it is now with out it.

Key to heavy is getting the drop on your victims. Shadow gave me a few reclaimed yesterday so I could craft the Beast, and the reduced spin-up time completely fucks how I play heavy. I'm more mobile as a heavy than I am with most other classes, and I'd credit my wins that to almost every time.

Also, tossing sandviches around a corner and spin-jumping onto them is a great way to soak a few hundred damage up front if you're face a Brass (or anything else).
