None of these maps excite me. Sure, the visual stays true to the "tf2 art style." But they all look like badwater era remakes.

Why don't they excite you? And how do they remind you of "badwater era", why would that be a bad thing?

Ok, first of all, the first map looks like a coldfront version of a lovechild between granary, viaduct pro, and koth_ashville, each of which are maps I think I'd much rather play than that. Honestly I'm not a fan of the design, and I think that like even viaduct_pro might be a better map for koth.
I just don't find small koth maps that viable in pubs, since it's a serious clusterfuck 90% of the time. I guess if you're going for the Highlander route this map works okay, but it's a little big I feel like for any team to be able to stably control and hold the midpoint. Also by that I mean that teams can easily hold mid and it would be a bitch to check flanks all the time and make completely coordinated pushes.
