My TF2, it is not working!

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

I changed some graphics settings, told it to vertical sync and do all the anisotropic and anti aliasing and use better textures and it worked so w/e.

Check the printer cables, blow the dust out of the cartridge, try a different gamepad, use a tube tv, try a new AOL disc, rewind the tape, adjust the screen position, make sure it's on channel 3, fuck with the antenna, make sure the disc isn't upside down, and pray to your god.

He was playing on the funbox and he was a blue admin, so we censored some of the fun we were having so he wouldn't get suffer any complications from exposure. Had he seen what I saw on my screen, he might have come down with some serious pootis.

I'm going to start restricting this joke to people who were alive when you actually had to do shit like this to get something to work...

I went into a bar in DC recently that has old school NES, but only 1 game works. All the 22 y/o hipsters were staring at me like I had a 3rd arm when I started cleaning the games with some Q-tips from my girlfriend and some rubbing alcohol from the bartender. I got all the games that I wanted to play working and got a couple free beers out of it from the bartender.

I'll be honest with ya, so did I. I had and played an NES on a shitty tv with an antenna until I was in kindergarden. Same thing with VHS tapes. As for the AOL disc, well, yeah, I didn't have internet until I was 10. Other than that, all true and all experienced by me.

EDIT: Also, that NES I had (or rather, still have) had this weird issue where you needed to jiggle the cart inside the system so that it's in the exact right spot in order to work properly(probably should have cleaned the inside of the system), as well as this weird glitch with the reset botton where the game would constantly reset until you pressed the reset button just right. Getting that thing to work was/is a pain in the ass, but it's all worth it to play the best coop game ever made, Bubble Bobble.
