☺ Legendary ROAD TRIP

by LegendarySurgeon » Sun May 20, 2012 9:17 pm

Hello, PEOPLE OF CSn. I, ☺ Legendary Surgeon, along with ☺ Wandering Minstrel are going to be going on a road trip over the next week. If you are in or near:

Chicago
St. Louis
Detroit
Sandusky
ANY CITY ON A LINE FROM ONE OF THESE TO ANOTHER
(keeping in mind we're coming from Washington D.C.)

Let me know here before Wednesday (when we leave) and we can plan a time to say hi, possibly grab food, and if you're AWESOME you could acquaint us with your couch and let us crash there so we don't have to get a room at a hotel.

If all else fails we're planning on being at the World Steam Expo in Dearborn, MI Sunday evening to see Steam Powered Giraffe perform. If you're going to be there, DEFINITELY let us know.

We're going to be in St. Louis on Friday unless something crazy happens. I'm pretty sure Wakka and Vetos are there, too. Though I think they go to school there and they may have gone to wherever "home" is for the summer.

I live between St. Louis and Chicago. Let me know if you'll be needing a place to crash in between those two, but I can't imagine you will. :D

Heading to Chicago tomorrow morning. Already have some ideas about where to go, but if anyone wants to make some last minute food suggestions, GO for it.

Haha, I can visit New York any time. I live in the D.C. area. We'll visit you sometime, Schwartz but it's midwest time this time B-)

Ended up going to Hot Doug's, the sausage superstore and encased meat emporium. Had

"Smoked and Spicy Alligator Sausage with Shrimp Remoulade and Trugole Cheese"

and Wandering Minstrel got

"Three Cheese and Beer Chicken Sausage with Pesto Mayonnaise, Roma Tomatoes and Smoked Mozzarella Cheese"

Also got a kielbasa with mustard and sauerkraut and a corn dog as backup.
