Do you enjoy shooting tears at flies and poop as you walk around a maze of rooms while encountering terrible monsters in a Legend of Zelda dungeon lay-out? Then I think this game is for you.
The Binding of Isaac takes place in Isaac's basement. After his mother is told by God herself to kill Isaac, he finds a secret door in his room, and flees to the basement, there which he finds atrocious creatures and monsters. Isaac comes with simple controls, the wsad keys move your character and your arrow keys shoot tears. You can also find items to power up your character, usually found after boss fights or in golden rooms. The Binding of Isaac also has many video game references. Some of the items are mushrooms (Super Mario) and fetus's in a jar (Super Meat Boy) etc.
The plot of The Binding of Isaac mimics the same titled happening in the bible, in which god tells Abraham to kill Isaac. Many of the bosses, playable characters and items are named after biblical things.
All in all, this is an amazing game, I personally urge you all to pick up this game.
