Microphone suggestions

So the other night I thought I'd break out my old crappy headset mic to talk in game and maybe on mumble and it turns out that it either doesn't work or is EXTREMELY quiet.

Either way, I didn't feel like trying to fix it so I'm in the market for a new microphone. I don't need anything great, basically something that will keep me relatively clear and do a somewhat decent job of removing background noise.

I have a pretty low budget for this since I'm just going to be messing around with it and probably won't use it regularly. Do you all have suggestions of particular models/brands I should be looking at?

I use a Zalman. I don't have any complaints so far (about two months in).

I went out to Radioshack and bought a little Gigaware mic for about $20. You've heard me talk in the server before, so it works alright. My only complaint is that the ear cups are too small for me, so it becomes uncomfortable after a bit. Otherwise, it works great.

Zalman's looking like the relatively painless winner. Quick answer, and everything I read on it is very good plus it's super cheap. Audio tests on youtube sound pretty great especially for the price point.
