The 1 critsandvich past time. 'the drinking game.'
What most of you do? -- Drink beer.
To properly journey down the fine road. You gotta know your spirits.
And spending 100 bucks for a fine bottle of single malt. Yes, it's nice to know what you're doing. But you're wasting money.
The solution?
Costco.
Costco sells more wine and spirits than anyone else in the country. They have the absolute best prices. You can even get Kirkland Beer, which is made by some of the best brewers in the country. Understand that Kirkland isn't a house brand. Anything Kirkland is good, if not better than the companies that make it for them. For instance. Tuna. Bumblebee makes Kirkland tuna. But Kirkland tuna is better. (And more expensive.) But we aren't talking about fish.
The booze.
What you can find at costco:
My fav: Glenmorangie 18
Retail price: $118
Costco price: $72
Yep but that's still 72 bucks.
Just need a cheap mixer?
But a good cheap mixer?
OK 92 proof.
1.75 Liter
Made by Cruzan (which retails 44-50 for a 750ml)
Costco price? $15
Same goes for Burbon (made by Jim Beam) Or Vodka ( made by an independent distiller that is literately next to Grey Goose in France.)
OK. So how about the good stuff, but cheap? Pay attention to the details.
Macallan 12 = $56
Macallan 18 as a Kirkland brand = $54
Macallan 18 = $180
Its the same stuff. no joke.
Now go get frosty.
