Ping Issue

Hello! I just went back from my 4G Dongle "cause it sucks" to my 8Mbit ADSL. But the ping went from about 150 to 200 from 4G Dongle to 8MBit ADSL. Anyone have a tip to trim the ping down???

"The ping 150-200 is when Im on a full Slaybox server for example"

It sucks to enjoy great team fortress servers from the other side of the planet when the ping destroy it!

My ping is generally in that range all the time due to middle-of-nowhere DSL being the only high speed Internet I can get. Generally doesn't affect my play, 150-200 ping is well playable.

Yeah know what u meen, also have my best connection I can were I live, just hoped there Is a way to make it a little better.

I don't know if this works but my friend told me to type cl_updaterate 101 in the console. I haven't seen a significant difference in the smoothness in the gameplay but maybe it'll work for you.
