They talk about the "15 year old kid" who was the one who brought down the steam forums a while back. Amongst other things. They also mention that this kid stole your credit card info. Which Steam denies ever happened. How does that make you feel?

On that subject, trusting anonymous is like trusting americans*; I believe Steam over them until I see proof.

Note that I'm quite sure the info was hashed, like Valve mentioned in their release about the hack. So it's very unlikely that the info could be decrypted. I'm pretty sure that's why this isn't all over the news--we know the card info was hacked, but it was well encrypted and salted so it should be all right.

I'm sure Valve learned their lesson from the HL2 leak, there's probably many folders named "HL3" and "ep3" on their serves that are filled with dummy files.

Well, by this point Anonymous only really exists in a metaphorical sense (getting all philisophical up in this bitch), and when you consider the very ideas behind the movements, any real Anon wouldn't have explained who did what and why. So it's probably a hoax.

Edit: By that I mean, the kid claiming to be the one to do it is probably lying.

I realized that the reason I didn't get the personal email from valve was because I didn't have a steam account back when the data was hacked.
