All that data.
All those bookmarks.
All that stuff I can't legally describe in most public domains.
Gone.
All gone.

Watch as they go for Mediafire next. Or Depositfiles.
Watch the end of the world.
THE END.
OF ALL THOSE BOOKMARKS I HAVE.
Yeah, this is pretty shitty. It actually makes me feel horrid, not just because I have a giant .txt of dead links. They took down a gigantic data store of terabytes and terabytes of information without any regard to the things that were legal on there. So what do you guys think about this?
(It's been a while in the works, though.)

If they'd just registered as a DMCA Safe Harbor, they'd have been protected against any legal injunction related to copyrights content.

Maybe this suit is aimed at removing their safe harbor status? If it was, though, I would think that further legal injunction and suspension of service would only occur if it lost that battle.
