Our good friend Lowsound was kind enough to invest in a realm!

It seems this is an invite only situation, so if you'd like to play with us, send your Minecraft username to csnrealm@gmail.com and we'll send you an invite. Please allow a day or two to receive your invite, since only the owner of the realm can make additions. There are only 20 invite slots, and only 10 players can be connected at a time. I'll keep a running list on this post of current users and open slots. I know this isn't an ideal setup, but if there's enough traffic, we'll invest in something a little more permanent!

Some ground rules:
1. As always, don't be a jerk. Common courtesy please.
2. Don't destroy other people's creations without permission.
3. PvP is on, however killing people is generally frowned upon. If you want to arrange a duel, or start a gladiator ring, that is up to the players involved!
4. Have fun! And feel free to contact an OP (pinks in the user list) with any questions or concerns.

Reminder! CSn hosts a mumble server with a channel for Minecraft!

Depending on what the server performance will be like off the Realm, I might just MCEdit the map to make it smaller(just cut out the bit between spawn and Special's place).

Got bored on Saturday when no one was online:

Don't freak out, it's an old backup.

Next steps are getting it to generate nightly and to have live player positions displayed

edit1: I just turned signs on - haha
edit2: I customized the signage to require "CSn" to be place on the first line

So I've setup my test server to update the map every night at 2am EST
I've also set it up to update the player position markers every 15 minutes.

I've also setup log files to make sure it's running, if you're curious you can check em out:

So we switched over to my server last night. Apparently minecraft isn't exactly happy with only 1 CPU core and 1 gb of ram.. even after turning off the webserver to free up a little space.

So I bumped it up to 2 cores and 2 gb of ram. Feel free to login and try it out.

Disconnects shortly after death. I got dropped a large distance, and was irritated, so I DCed after respawn.

The amount of hours I spent strip mining is pretty embarassing dating back to the original realm server, though I don't usually like to mess with mineshafts besides trying to loot the chests real quick - too dangerous for me.

Also, if it's so game breaking then why is it still in the game!
