I recently found an abandoned mine and i would love any help that i could get excavating it. i have already found quite a bit of diamond, redstone, lapis lazuli and the like.
ill make a tower out of cobblestone and cover it in torches to mark it.


On another note would i be allowed to have creative mode? I wanted to build a very large structure and I would be able to do that on my own but creative would make it much easier.

You can't use creative to build your house, your estate, or anything for yourself, from what I know.

You sure it is abandoned is it a like 20 block pit with a ladder going down and a couple of caves going apart then its my shaft with an iron block near the door and some chests near the door too.

First off yes, i am sure that it is a mine shaft because it has cave spiders in it which have already killed me a few times. and also because it has the wooden plank supports and treasure chests.

Second i wouldnt be building this house for me. it would be for people passing by as somewhere to stay without the fear of dying.
I was also going to make a challenge course with very worthwile rewards
