A permanent ban for sticky jumping up to the sky in CTF_Well and watching the action while waiting on the map to change? A bit unfair IMO. I didn't even kill anybody. I dislike that map and every time a server goes to it I jump up and sit there.

This is the "map exploit" in question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDeca3Pd ... ature=plcp

I play on CS servers all the time and think a permanent ban is a tad BS, I would appreciate the ban being reversed.
Thanks

Whenever you connect to our servers, and after every map change, our rules are automatically displayed in chat. Let's take a look.

**************SERVER RULES****************
*No bigots or racists. Listen to admins
*No hacking, griefing, or exploits

It's only the second rule!

You were using a map exploit. That is against our rules. I, for one, have a particularly strong distaste for map exploits that can give players an unfair advantage, so yes, I banned you permanently. Zero tolerance means I tolerate zero map exploits before taking action. If/when the other admins here decide to shorten your ban, I will understand, but I don't want to see you doing it again. Or anyone, for that matter.

That's fine dude ... but permanent? Come on, that's a bit much for a regular. It's not like I'm some douche that just joined in to troll around. It's not even a harmful "Map exploit" considering it's impossible to hit anyone from up there.

Any update to this? I'd like to be able to join CS servers with my friends. I still contest that this ban is the work of a Madmin. Nobody was killed, I was completely harmless. The only thing I can be accused of is taking up a server slot when only about 8 people we're on anyway.
