Terraria: How to Make a Backup?

Does anybody know if it is possible to save a backup of one of our maps? I have one map in particular in which I'm working on a big project and I'm afraid it'll all be griefed when I'll put it in Multiplayer. o.o

I'm pretty sure this topic would help more than just my little self. I hope.

If your running windows, go to your documents, then to the my games folder, then Terraria, then worlds, then copy the file that say's world1(or 2,3,4,5) to a different folder on your computer.

At least that's how I do it.
