ATTENTION! THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO UNDERSTAND SPY, BECOME MLG PRO AT SPY OR BE MAJESTIC IN THEIR MOVEMENT! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
After watching many players (not just in critsandvich servers), I felt the need to put it out there that some players, (not only in our wonderful community) need to learn how to "move" when playing/spying. Being a spy isn't all about fancy back stabs, trick stabs and how many kills you get, its what kills you get and how you will get them (comp spies should know what I mean, ahem...Medic picks). Spy is a class of deception, trickery and espionage, and if you want to master those factors, you NEED to learn how to MOVE your ASS EFFECTIVELY. This aim of this topic is to give players (newbie, average or veteran) an insight of why movement is such a crucial factor in our day to day TF2, with all the rockets and grenades and spam flying everywhere among our fragile bodies, we need to learn how to watch ourselves!
"Movement is a channel through which players communicate, which is open to manipulation"-TF2Slurgi
Slurgi is a well known spy whose skills at stabbing rival that of stabby stabby's (in my trustworthy opinion) and who also dedicates most of his TF2 videos explaining his mindset which stands on his 4 main spy pillars: psychology, intuition, tension and movement. Now in my opinion, movement is the key skill all spies should learn to master, (this also applies to other classes as well). Trust me, after watching his videos, your movement will be so unpredictable, so unbeatable, so unorthodox your opponents will have difficulty hitting you as you laugh mockingly at their aim. Slurgi's video below will teach you everything he knows about movement, so sit back, get the popcorn and listen closely to his very detailed explanation along with his beautiful music tastes. His videos have benefited a lot of people, including me! And below his video is my 2nd crappy frag video which I made with fraps and source recorder (hence why there is a bit of lag)
I hope these videos will help you, in your future endeavours
