Eeeyup. VAC doesn't monitor exploit usage though.
The funny thing about this is that I'd just traded for my first ever Buffalo Steak Sandvich earlier that day, so I actually thought this was just how the thing worked. It was pretty balanced most of the time since everyone was minicritting me while I was spun up and I died a ton. A few people mentioned they thought the Steak only worked with melee, but I told them it didn't seem to mind guns for me and they just said they thought that was odd.
Of course, an hour or so later Valve patched the glitch and I wound up figuring out that you're not supposed to be able to fire while Steaked. Probably a good thing, considering how much time I spent meat-grinder suiciding myself with my new nom.
