had fun messing with the replay and i decided to make a video.

Nice. I sort of wish the replay renderer would let you string a set of takes together in one render. Would simplify stuff a lot and allow for a lot more camera angles.

Also, the rewinding bit gets annoying, though it's obviously a system limitation.

Same sort of deal with the Halo 3 replay thingie. The problem is that, if I remember correctly, the issue is with the demo format, because its not a video file, more like the game reenacting the events of the demo. That would make legit rewinding both buggy and tricky. Plus, map size is also an issue, that was why rewinding in Campaign mode in Halo 3 was impossible.
