I donated $5 but forgot that I wasn't logged into steam so i'm assuming my account didn't get donator status.

Did you enter your SteamID when donating? I don't think you have to be logged in to have donor added to your account (since people can gift donor), but someone more knowledgeable will be able to answer.

ALso, even if you didn't it should be no problem having someone set your ID manually.

I also have this same issue, I donated with the same email my account is linked too. Steam name is "CSn| Jovarkian", sans quotes. Can post email if necessary.

I changed your id to STEAM_0:0:41598793, which should be correct, it was linked in hlstats. Let me know if it works.
