Fuck crit. On one round out of the 8 death I got, 2 was non-crit.

The base percentage for getting a melee crit is 15% versus the base for a gun being 2% So you can max out your gun crit % chance at 12% but your melee weapon can go up to 25% chance of criting.
Snipers benefit from this just as engies do. Why do you think the Kukuri (or however that's spelled) is a crit machine? One headshot and you already up your crit % to around 20%
