slaybox 1 ip?

by Wakka » Wed Feb 22, 2012 5:25 pm

for some reason, lately whenever i try to view game info for people playing on sb1, it won't show up correctly, and the ip address shows up as 96.127.150.18:27015 rather than 69.175.33.150:27015. not sure what's up.

The IPs both seem to be redirecting to the same server. if you get rid of the port and and /ban you get our bans page. Otherwise, I don't know what would be up with that.

Does slay1.critsandvich.com work?

You could also try enabling Google Public DNS to see if that fixes the problem... (google instructions on how to do that)

Should be 69.175.33.150:27015 as specified -ip in the startup line.

ive been having some trouble with the lovenest as well. when ever i type in the ip (love.critsandvich.com) i get the message "ERROR Bad IP adress" and it wont let me join. what i usually end up doing is copy/pasting the ip that shows when a server is full into my console and that works, but im wondering why the normal ip doesnt.

This is how I've always done it. Never fails.

that was kind of my point... the correct IP isn't showing up there

It must be a problem on your end, I've never noticed an issue with the IP of the server when you bring up the dialog box.
