Name change needed (lagbox)

Shouldn't the funbox name be changed to lagbox? I fail the see the point of having it anymore seeing how its impossible to play there. You guys need to decide if you're going to have a Funbox, a UnusualBox or get a new server because what you guys are doing now isn't working.

It is unbelievably hard to play in the server now with the lag.
Even as a Pinkmin I can say its the worst I have seen.

Maybe the lag is ok for the trade servers but it detracts from people wanting to even play in the funbox.
I have seen less and less of our regulars since it started lagging.
Not to mention that it is probably the only cause of the crashing as of right now.

I usually only have real bad lag in the Westboxes, but I'm getting the same whenever I join the Funbox =\ Lagbox indeed.

I would suggest moving the Unusual server to another box if your bandwidth isn't the issue, Benny. (assuming all the servers are on one box, and that you have another one) But yeah, only having it for those with Unusuals isn't really a good idea IMO. I would just have it as a second trade server, since I usually see the trade server we have now full. (just saying)

Also, off topic, but I wanna see my suggested maps added (or at least an opinion on them)

With uhc shutting down august 12th, there should be a slight influx of new unusual traders to the server. The only problem with the "unusual trade" in general is that some elitist douchebags who are all boner'd up about dissing those who buy/trade unusuals fail to see the other side of the green. My suggestion to you is to not knock it before you try it.
Regular trade servers typically draw only 1-3 users with unusual/enough to buy an unusual. That's basically like trying to trade in a server with 3 people tops. Would you play in a slaybox with 3 people (with no chance of it getting any higher)?? I don't think so

Assuming UHC is shutting down it could be nice to bank in some more people. However, our fun server is almost always full, and the lag is destroying it. Even with that plug-in or w/e removed at times its still just as laggy as with it. If we are going to add a unusual trade server lets do it right, not destroy a already popular part of CSn.

No I read that, my point is one of them has to go until we have the resources for both. While I'm not saying we shouldn't have both, I'd be willing to bet we get more donations from the funbox than the trade servers, a unusual trade server at that, so it seems obvious which should go for now.

I'm just glad that you understand that there is an opportunity to be had here. I don't want to continue with such a condescending demeanor, but some people need to understand the difference between unusual trade servers and a bunch of players idling and flaunting their hats in a douch-y manner.

The San Jose one is still being used, but not for long due to the lag spikes. Finger is getting rid of it soon.
