Let's Talk About: Dungeons & Dragons

by flufffage » Thu Mar 30, 2017 2:03 pm

So. Dungeons & Dragons.
It's a thing.

I'm DMing Curse of Strahd currently for a random group of weird strangers who enjoy seeing me suffer, but was wondering who would be interested for future campaigns.

Could be full level 1-10/whatever campaigns or just single-level/single-session adventures. The idea is to rotate players and DMs to get people a chance to play with other characters/players, and to let people get a taste of playing and even DMing without too much pressure. Games are usually anywhere from 3-6 players plus DM.

EDIT: This thread will be used to coordinate games. Please make sure to send me your experience level and preferred day/time so we can get you in a group that works for you.

Let me know if you want to be added to/removed from list, or if you're interested in DMing or just playing. I'm adding everyone who I know has participated and/or expressed interest to me.

You're in.

Holy hell guys this is a list.

What I need next is each person's preferred day of the week, so we can sort y'all into groups. Message me a first and second choice. Plan about 2-4 hours for a session.

I'll have a new thread up once we get a bit of a schedule, and I'll link resources there so you can start building characters.

Also we could use more DMs if anyone wants to step up to the plate.

Well, time to watch all The IT Crowd episodes again....

Most of my D&D knowledge comes from HarmonQuest:

Fuck dude I just started binging that. About 90% of my D&D knowledge comes from that. It's really enjoyable so far. I'd recommend it if you're okay with it being kinda slow.
Is this where I put a joke?
Also I am bad at forums.

Upated OP with new interested parties.

If you haven't already, please let me know your availability, that is what time/day of the week works best for you for d&d sessions.

Also please note if you have any previous experience.

I'll start looking at piecing together a schedule, and get going soon.

Hello Frienderinos,

I would like to plan some basic stuff for me to practice DMing, and would like to see what new to D&D people would also like to participate in helping get a feel for it and practice.
Having work every week day and busy most Friday/Saturday evenings with other games. I can do this on either Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday evenings.
If you are interested please message me and say what day you are available. I'd like to do some starting the last week of May.

Also, I'd like to start my campaign soonish as well so it does not run into when I'm planning on moving and become a mess. So if you are interested in that let me know what days you could do that.

Thank you and enjoy the rest of you day

xoxo

Right now, and only if I can play a bard named Pom Tetty.
