Balubish, if you need any help organizing the financial, industrial, and/or accounting structure of your star citizen organization, I'd be happy to assist you. My qualifications include a university degree in economics, so any game with a virtual economy as detailed as star citizen intends to have is always interesting to me. I'd just have to read up on things first though.

Sounds like a good rough plan. I can't wait to get started and become one of the most revered bounty hunters this side of the Eagle Nebula. And sending some of my profits to the main fleet to build our armada for when/if shit hits the fan. We're gonna be survivors. :P

Sounds great. Your help is most welcome. I added you as a group admin on steam now so I have all upcooming admins there. And if Bird wanna help, sure why not, we probably need several ppl on each thing.
Think we need several "Admins" on this topic anyways. The org members that do donate will come to those guys to ask to loan a salvage ship/transport/fighter and so on.

Found this link on some of it, gotta read later though. https://forums.robertsspaceindustries.com/discussion/24718/star-citizen-economy-and-employment/p1

Not sure but the best might be if we had several ppl having same control of one specific ORG account with all the ships/cash.
Those who have will be the loaners mainly and setup loan time rules etc.
Edit: Almost forgot, you guys that do this part among the other admins, should plan next buy up in the org, ship, factory and so on. Calculate what we can profit and expand with best.

And Yasha they will implement factories wich would be a perfect income aswell, we could even do missions for our own company aswell double profit for the org.
Think food, gasoline, rockets and all kinds of stuff will have factory values. Reason why I think that is because of a recent release of a ship growing its own food supply in space.
Prices to buy a factory is way to early, I havent seen any updates on it but might have missed it. But we might need to be fast on this snatching as many as we can, not sure how many there are or how it will work.
If you buy spots on planet for your factory or how it works at all, if one of you guys can find more info on this plz provide.

The factories send out work through space, and even if we dont do jobs for our own factory, AI and other players will. Factories might have route problems with pirates attacking the transports and have to call in the cops basicly taking care the pirate problem.

All I know factories will be implemented with us "humans" and will work aside AI in the galaxy owning/selling stuff. +/- 15% depending on demand or rarity in that area.

Edit: Not sure on the factories, what I can understand now you cant own them but be CEO of them basicly, and it depends somewhat on reputation in space and so on.
If someone can find better info about this would be awesome.
Found some info on it. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/engineering/13128-The-Star-Citizen-Economy

Feels like real life problems soon, so many factors to think over. I like it :)

And Rumours, totally, when shit hits the fan we need to have some big cannons to fight back ;)

Well you can do a voting for it. Captain is a specific ship so that might be added later when we own bigger ships, but that could also be one person that own bigger ship with NPC's aswell.
If we get a capital ship I really think it would be cool to set someone as captain for it.
Doctor would probably be several, mediguns will be availible, but Doctors could have a cutlass red ship and search and rescue for member in danger.

I give this duty to you bird ;)

I'm not saying that, but a lot of those mechanics are defined in really, really broad terms. I have no idea how industrial and such is going to work.

Same, there is a lot of stuff to be setup, how much you earn and all that. Still I dont think its bad to a startup ideas how the org should work.

I made an account and from what I understand, $45.00 gets you in the game right, with one ship? but somehow so will $15,000

45$ is the cheapest pledge that comes with the game.

Its still in dev, you both get the game "AAA" title and a ship for $45 bucks and will be able to follow "play all the updates" the progress and learn about the game in even more detail before release.

$15.000 gives you a fleet of ships and more support to the game.

All ships will be availible ingame for you to buy with ingame currency when you have earned enough to buy better bigger ships and upgrades. Basicly progress and ur personal fleet.
More money spent, a bit more help on ur progress on release date, nothing else. I've spent $300 bucks on it since April last year doing cross chassi upgrades/testing guns and shields out.
But its definitly nothing everyone have to do, I just wanted to upgrade for myself and test other ships til release.

I recommend buy one of the cheaper pledges and go from there. Maybe try saving up ingame doing missions to go up atleast to an Avenger.

$15.000 Package 18,500$ for me thanks to VAT taxes And yeah its not worth it :) Even if I had the money it would kinda destroy the progress thing and playtime.
Main reason im exited is the exploring and all the stuff you can do in it and evolve my personal fleet, a goal of progress.
Having all things at once would kill that and the game for me.

Yeah they are, thats why I have had such hope for this game all along. All haters that dont follow it have no idea and still smack talk it like they know.
And they have always been providing everything they do wich make us backers feel appretiated and they listen to our feedback aswell.

Yeah that's the one thing I really like about these devs. They'll talk about anything and show you where all the money is being put toward. And also discussing whats going on with the game under a microscope. If it was EA doing this you'd never see the money again and get invited to an open beta 2 weeks before the game releases so you feel like your input mattered.

No offense, but I find it hilarious that it took CIG months and months to admit the star marine module wasn't "2 weeks away", but in fact entirely scrapped/rolled into the multicrew stuff. CIG shows a lot of assets and preliminary ship designwork off, but I would hesitate to call them open, at least compared to other crowdfunded studios. I feel that a lot of the "shows" they put on are mostly just marketting the newest/biggest ships to buy, so I might be a bit biased here.

To be fair though, Bethesda wasn't even remotely open about Fallout 4, to the point of not letting reviewers release reviews until the day of, and it ended up being a GOTY competitor, so who knows.

Its all good man, you dont have to play the game :) Not everyone like the gamestyle. Personally I dont like Spacesims/MMO or what games like this are called either, but I do look forward to this one.
And sure I can understand marketing, how long have you known about Fallout4? A year? Thats how they get money to make a game. GTA V did get around 2Billion in sold games so far, SC around $100million.
And I think Fallout 4 will sell like nothing else. And its funny that you talk about marketing, Fallout4 main sales pitch "Get ur own Pip Boy" its the same thing :)

Main rule of real life, dont get jelous of other ppl having good ideas and make money out of them.

Everyone will die, if you run around scared of dying you probably die faster.

As you know im very exited for the game in general but the quality is beyond me. Still I think Crysis 3 with Cryengine have best quality graphics til this day, atleast for FPS games.
SC are in the main Cryengine aswell but very modified, so modified that they have even hired Cryengine makers to help with the dev of this game.
The main engine is for FPS, this will contain everything. And mainly a massive world.

I heard from 10 for the chairman yesterday they might be able to fix so we can actually fly down to planet from space instead of the automatic flight
and are working on that goal, cause yeah, everyone wants it right :) They seem to work hard on having as few as non loading screens to give as much of immersive gameplay as possible.
The huds looks really awesome now, the old concept or temporary you had all ur hud settings on one screen. Most ships will actually have seperate screens. One for shield, one for thruster and so on.
Later he said after release they will implement voice command on these things, but for now they will concentrating to finish the game and make implements on such things at a later point.

Also the latest remake of the Constellation Andromedia they showed the difference last week and even with half the polygons it looks so much better even though they have added alot of content and details both outside and inside the ship, how do they do it? So even if it looks much better it will take much less power to render it.

Old model:
Image

Now:
Image

Like how the hell do they make it looks so much better with half the polygons?!

So here is just some massive buildings they have added and how it will look while flying around in the galaxy in general. Hot damn it looks so nice.
And for me Unreal 4 Engine looks nice for games and the effects, but still think Cryengine brings the realness still better.

Image

Image

I was watching the Ark Map this morning to see if they have added some new places. I saw on the SC 2.0 release place we will probably be able to visit a closeby asteroid belt in that star system, the planet is just beside it also an orbiting station. Maybe we will be able to try mining aswell, hope so. :)
I also checked a few other systems and found atleast 2 with asteroid clusters, old planets that have collided and brought up alot of minerals and other debri.
Atleast one of them the info was that it will contain much rich of minerals but also rich of pirates.

Can't wait to try out Alpha 2.0 when its out of public test. Dogfighting in arena commander has been very fun. Tried it out with Mouse/Keyboard and Controller. I think I'm favoring mouse, just because theres so many contextual buttons with controller. You have to hold one button and press another to do something you can do just pressing a key on keyboard. I can only imagine how the immersion will feel with VR later on. >_<

I bet using an actual flight stick in arena commander could be fun though.

Nice Dragoon, did you actually manage to stand on the platform? I died everytime when trying.
Was fun fighting against you and if more ppl from CSn got the game with should jump in and do a kill everyone you see kinda thing. Both fun and good to train.

In other news I made an explanation on the starmap how damn big its gonna be and how to travel between star systems through wormholes was actually more complex with bigger ships than I thought.

Depending on when you last checked in to the game, it is currently in Alpha 2.3.0:

They moved from early alpha to Alpha 2.0 last December. Since then, it's made numerous improvements to the Hangar, Arena Commander (dogfighting) and Crusader's persistent universe sandbox. I can say that Arena Commander and Hangar run waaaaay smoother now than they did before Alpha 2.0.

Crusader and ArcCorp (the city you can walk around and explore) is the small persistent universe that they're letting players test to work out the bugs that come with many players online at the same time flying, doing missions, and genuine bugs that need to be fixed etc. Crusader does run much better now than it did in December when Alpha 2.0 came out, but it still isn't perfect. Alpha is currently in version 2.3.0 as of an update about a week ago. Updates to the game have been fairly frequent and I notice more stability in all the modes currently available in alpha.

I'd say if you haven't played in a while I'd log on just to try out Arena Commander and see how much better it runs(plus if you beat wave 18 you unlock the ability to rent an enemy Vanduul ship), and try out Crusader, which is basically a small sandbox of what the much larger persistent universe will be like. Balubish and I have managed to start in the same server a few times and fly in each other's spacecraft. Its easier to party up with others in your friend list than it was a couple updates ago so they're actively working on improving that as well.

I'm sure Balubish has more to say though.

Here's the notes form the last update:

Yeah like Rumors said. The have used the dogfighting module to have as bed to test ships, mechanincs of that in Arena commander and basicly when Baby PU 2.0 came out they feel like it was AC working good enough to go to the next step. PU 2.3 as it is now is crusader which the universe will be built up around and as for us in Alpha can test all upgrades to it. Ever stage for example 2.3 and next 2.4 etc will be implmented with one new thing added to be tested. Like for example 2.2 had coolers added, 2.3 had powerplants and so on. They also add some other content aswell.

And I doubt they will release much more than crusader for us until release cause they dont want to spoil or let us play the finished game even with bugs before anyone else.
And the next update either 2.4 or 2.5 I think will be what they are working on hard now is procedural planets so instead of what they said from start that you would call in to a landing zone and it would force you to do that. They managed so solve the loading so you will be able either to jump right above the landing zone or just fly urself down in the atmosphere and get a nice flyby view before landing. The only loading screen you will see is when you start the game basicly when its done.

Example they showed around 3 months ago. Note devs are still adding landing zones etc on the planets manually so a reason why it takes time. But the quality and the content added im not surprised it takes time.

And I think next will be currency mechanics added among other things. Like they will add that ingame currency will work so you can go into a shop or some random guy in an alley that sell stuff and buy a weapon or whatever with UEC.

And for you that havent backed Star Citizen is now split in 2 games. Squadron 42 is the singleplayer game which contains Arena Commander and the storyline basicly. Think episode 1 will have around 100hours of gameplay. And Star Citizen is the Presistent Universe also w/ Arena commander I think. Luckily for us backers we have the complete game already Squadron 42 and Star Citizen.

And what ive seen on what they are working on and are releasing to us I only think that we backers will only be able to test new mechanics implemented, as said next step will be currency, buying, selling etc in shops. I dont think we will be able to land on Crusader from space before release but I could be wrong, lets hope so. (Could be fun testing that out) And somewhere along that they will add the cargo mechanincs and i think they added loot "kinda" now in 2.3. I heard that on the Moon Yela and around the Asteroid field there is AI enemies that you can kill and they drop loot, especially 2 rifles, 1 electro rifle and one sniper rifle. I havent checked yet myself. And as Rumors said they are adding fixes and stability almost every week on the mini PU but some servers can differ alot.
But if you want a taste of how the mechanics of the PU will be you can log in and test it out and how missions will work. Also, are alooot of buttons to keep track on, I still dont know how to go backwards with my ship lol, think its enough with roll, turning, pitch, lock on friendly, cycle friendly target, lock on enemy, cycle enemy target and so on and all that.

So an update to our planned ORG. Rumors(PennDragoon) and me will and have spent alot of money into it and are trying to build a base ORG up for us.
With hopefully 2 Starfarer "Refueling" ships for us. So for you who dont want to fly around in ur starter ship but still wanna help out and earn ingame money while doing missions together will earn it while working on different places on Starfarer for example or even as a backup ship with ur own ship flying side by side transporting stuff and be ready if we get attacked by pirates.

What work is on a Starfarer? Well you can either be the big top gun turret, sheild operator, fuel boom mechanic checking fuel tanks or handling the boom while refueling other ships, 2 turrets in the back, cargo bay worker and mechanic in different areas, say engine room, sheild and gravity generator and ofcourse a pilot. And thats how Star Citizen will be in its all glory of it. A game in the game. You will always have something to do even if you work for someone. We arent sure how the currency will work yet. If its possible we could split profit depending how much is left after doing missions and repair.
And we will be able to either depending how time consuming it is to actually harvest fuel either give it free to the community/org or sell it cheaper to you guys.
But as its not yet implemented we cant know for sure yet. But our thought is it will still benefit our community / org no matter what. And working together will make the game not just more fun but also you will earn money faster and will be able to buy that nice upgraded guns to ur ship or a better ship faster.

An example I heard recently not 100% sure how accurate it is. But from a starter package and to earn doing ingame missions basicly up to a Constellation Taurus will take around 60hours effective gameplay to earn up to it. If you have questions about ships pros and cons probably both me and Rumors (Penndragoon) know about the same amount of if. Personally I have been testing all ships released so far ingame.

The Aurora, it looks like shit but you can upgrade to Size 2 guns on it and also add Pylon mounts (Rockets) on it and 3 more spots of cargo.

While the Mustang have 3 less cargo, its a bit more agile and a snub fighter more, it can only have the stock lvl 1 size guns on it as it comes with, it do have lvl 1 in the front that are on gimbal mount.

I have had both of them and liked them on different areas. So its actually on ur personal taste and if you are fine with 4lvl 1 guns or 2 lvl 2 and rockets.
If you wanna compare the specs urself here you go.

Aurora:
https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/ships/rsi-aurora/Aurora-MR

Mustang
https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/ships/mustang/Mustang-Alpha

Also keep in mind. The game is split now cause its getting so big. So the universe is Star Citizen and Squadron 42 is only the singleplayer game of it.

They have a complete game though I saw right now. Same ships but cost a bit more. Also keep in mind the game is still in alpha so prices might change until release.

Sadly enough Someone Special contacted me last night that he couldnt join. Cause you need to have the game for some reason.
Anyway, just so you guys know! We now have a CSn Star Citizen Corp/Org for you to join when that day comes.
I know many of you guys are sceptic about this game cause its not out yet and fully understand it. But when you are or if you are intersted Star Citizen CSN community have that setup for you guys aswell now.

For further questions about the org and the main plan for us just ask either one of us.

Best regards Balu & Penn

Re: Star Citizen CSn Organization - Join here

So I managed to play few hours yesterday on the 2.4 release and getting the feel for it. For you you arent that read up on Star Citizen 2.4 is the alpha test for Presistent universe.
That means saving, penalty, refuel cost, ammo cost, buy items like armor, weps and so on, not everything but some of it for testing. I bought a gun and light armor suit yesterday.
Yes its still in alpha alot of low FPS and glitches and shit left but it gave me a taste of the finished game, well a start of it.

So back to the update. I can see myself loosing time playing this game for sure. Its intense when it matters and you cant get cocky in it or u will lose.
It takes time to play but thats a given, I managed to loot, fight and fix some stuff and explore some messages that got with mayday signals basicly.

What takes time overall is getting in or out ur ship depending on what you do and what ship you use, the bigger the longer it takes. So yes you need to have the ship ur gonna play with.
That means if you have a fighter your probably solid, but many of them have no cargo, some are mixed and have an easy get in and out cockpit like a jet fighter which makes it fast and easy to get out of your ship and loot. But the fun with the game I think is the immersion or how you spell it. Cause flying to an old beat up ship in the middle of nowhere and maybe alone which make it even more nervy atleast for me.

Reason? Well the moment you leave ur ship it shut down the power that means shield turns off and so on and ur self floating around in space, and "if" a pirate would be in ambush even if your outside
ur right outside ur ship and say you have a cockpit like a fighter yet, it still takes around 15 seconds to get back into ur seat, and start up the engines, then to get shield it takes like 20sec to reach full strenght.
Bigger ship, well yeah that takes even longer if your looting outside ur ship or fixing a space station or whatever it may be. But yeah the immersion is awesome and an hour went a way pretty fast doing some missions.

Yes, this is still in Alpha and are quite more to be done but its fun to see its going the right way, alot of stuff still to be added and on the presistent universe thing.
But as they have promised it works as it should, you can earn ingame "alpha currency" right now and do missions and missions update all the time and you can buy some stuff.
2.4 is just the test bed for all those things, like overall the items and stuff you will be able to trade will be huge, its like on release the game will start with all the items you can have in TF2 now but maybe less of each but more spread out into different areas, like different kinds of metals etc. Biggest issue so far is you need a pretty beefy PC to even run it, im getting around 20fps massivly OC cause its optimized like
a potato, so if you want a finished game I recommend u wait if you have a lower end PC and wait for the finished specs so its more optimized, the only thing that do run good is the Arena commander and your hangar still. I just wanted to share some of the new updates.

Earnings: Sadly they havent added shipping yet like containers with goods to freight hopefully in next update until most bugs and stuff are solved in this one.
To give some examples how the earnings are based now, finding a ship blown up in an asteroid field will have loot crates.
Either weapons "temporary owned until you die I noticed" or cigar boxes or rum, not sure why they added that but i would guess the dev of the game are constantly drinking up our money and smoking it up.
I dont care though ;)
One crate can give you around 1000aUEC which today is 1 dollar of ingame credit just to compare it. But on one shipwreck you can find up to 4-5 opened crates which I found yesterday.
And for me it was around 3000aUEC and 2 guns, not sure but I think you might be able to trade in the guns and get credit that way, i managed to die before that though lol.

Other missions like turning on a transponder in space that the pirate have taken over will give you 1000aUEC, I think the same for finding out a mayday signal and fight off pirates.

The shipping/mining/fuel is still a ??? but it will be much more depending on what you ship, cargo space and so on. Also what items you have in either shipping and mining cause it can contain alot of different things.

But yeah I hope this helps a bit for you new guys out a bit that still are curious about the dev of it. And maybe Penndragoon or someone else have something to add to the update.

/Balubish
Myself managed to loot on one wreck 2 guns and lots of cigars :) Later on i bought my self a light armor and gun as I said.

Personal post on the forums that I wanna save the link if they remove it.
https://forums.robertsspaceindustries.com/discussion/333301/reason-for-low-fps-is-bad-utilization-of-the-gpu-but-why
Just a backup picture of the post if it gets removed from the RSI site, you never know :)

Re: Star Citizen CSn Organization - Join here

by Balubish » Tue Jun 21, 2016 6:35 am

So i brought up this growing problem in the dev of Star Citizen. And that seemed to piss off both the devs and ppls rage aswell.

Day after I posted this among other guys they had "Around the Verse" roundup whats happening to the dev of it.

When 2.0 released it was cool and all and I got around 30fps now im right under 20fps. Penndragoon had a much older MB but a GTX 970 more FPS than me. Now i see posts from ppl
even joining in with like 1080's/1070s beeing around 20fps but there is probably driver issue.
Reason for my post and what pissed me off are the constantly lowered FPS that already were low from start. Which i can understand uncompressed workflow from the servers so they locked the info
to a slower info rate which means slower FPS, but alpha or not 20fps isnt acceptable if ur supposed to report problems and shit when the FPS is the biggest issue to play the game.
And luckily im not the only one. Alot of ppl jumped in on this thread and these circlejerks still continue to claim its server side but I and few others say its terrible fucking Utilization.

I noticed that my GPU didnt even heat up barely when playing the PU, didnt matter if i played 1080p or 1440p, or what graphics settings, still same usage of the GPU which is like 40%.
And some claim that they locked the FPS server side just to keep hackers out which makes no sense to me what so ever. And the more content they add "each big update" they have lowered
the FPS each time and as I said beeing just below 20fps isnt even fun and when you get 90FPS on Crysis 3 it pisses me off really.

Image

So bringing this up right after the update on the forum brought up a shitstorm it seems which is good cause its time they fucking listen. Both Around the Verse talked about it and the guy himself Chris Roberts yesterday. Sadly we wont see any optimization until maybe 2.7-2.8 which to me is bullshit. Cause they keep adding more content and want us to test it and report shit.
Biggest problem is alot of ppl have alot of low fps and kills the experience so even finding bugs when you dont want to play kills it alteast for me.
But I have to be understanding aswell that it is Alpha, I just wished they spent more time making the game work fine instead of putting in more ships, buying shirts and so on that makes no gameplay work at all.
I think its a weird way to go developing a game. But thats just me. Protip. If you ask stuff about this in the RSI chat, get ready to be jumped by some circlejerks. Toxic as fuck there.
When I brought this problem up atleast 5 jumped on me right away calling me names and shit. Forum still have some ignorant bastards and trolls but its alot less toxic :)

Oh yeah, sidenote: No devs have joined my thread cause the obviously know about it and have for a long time,
that also piss me off cause they have kinda acted ignorant like we are stupid and dont know how performance work even if its alpha or not.
When you get less than 20fps with a GTX 1080 it would piss me off even more.

Btw, one posted that his wife had around 20fps and he had around 40fps. She had 1600MHz Ram speed and him 2400MHz. He also had 6Core CPU and she 4Core but I dont think core count matters cause she had a 1070 and he 780 like me. So can someone that has it with maybe faster RAM test it out if you have it. Cause it uses very little RAM and I think actually it can be something with that aswell that utilize it terrible.

That sounds pretty frustrating.
I'll be honest, the only time I've played SC was with you last year.
I don't think I'll enjoy it on my current machine, with low fps/video settings :(

Well we played Arena, that works well and are optimized, but the PU is terrible.

So I trashed one of my stand alone ships and added few bucks and bought two LTI Argo "LifeTimeInsurance" ships that I can upgrade to a bigger better one over time and still keep the LTI Hull stamp on it.

Image
Note that I upgraded the top one from the Argo ship to an Aurora LN cause I was super curious to see if the LTI actually jumped with it wich it did.

Image
This ship is a really small ship and its only made for example bigger ships to have for example to go down to a planet or transport something locally in that area that you are in also.
It also have another version for Troops to drop on a war area for example or when doing raids or similar. But I thought I would save money ingame by not having to pay for insurance everytime you smash ur ship or get killed, and yes it happens more often than you might think. There are 3 different things you have to pay for keeping ur ship up and running:

Quantum fuel to jump between planets and places in a solar system, Re-Ammo "if you have projectile guns that use real ammo" and also rockets cost to resupply. But also if ur ship get destroyed wich it will be many times you have to pay a fee "Insurance" to get a new one right away if you smash it or get destroyed, the insurance feature. This sounds like a shitty feature but its not.

They dont want trolling ppl that use their ship to smash their ship into other ships on purpose, if you smash into someone when fighting its fine but to prevent ppl from doing this there is the insurance. And if someone is trolling to much their insurance will go up or even if you have LTI the lifetime insurance can be ignored and you still have to pay insurance cost.

Insurance cost also goes up dependning on the size of ship you or "hull size" that you have. So buying this atleast for me will benefit atleast i hope cause ingame later on I can upgrade to a bigger better ship and still keep that LTI stamp on my newer bigger and better ship that will have a higher insurance. So now I have atleast LTI on 2 of my 3 ships.

Lifetime Insurance *
Replaces your ship hull in the event of destruction or theft.
Hull is replaced with an identical model in equivalent condition.
Effective indefinitely with no additional in-game fee.

Standard Hull Insurance *
Replaces your ship hull in the event of destruction or theft.
Hull is replaced with an identical model in equivalent condition.
Effective for a set period of time: currently one, three or six months.
Must be renewed with in-game credits once expired.

Note! This ship do not have guns at all cause its a personal transport and its not built for the whole universe cause it cant defend itself or doesnt have an jump engine!

Latest update for the CSn Corp. I can understand ppl waiting until release to see how the game is and thats fine.
Image
Im just letting you guys know even if you get a standard pledge package with a small ship on release we will still be able on release to work as a team just like in TF2.
I upgraded today to my personal dreamship and it has on the info right now, support up to 8 crew members to do different kinds of jobs. That way we can earn ingame money as a CSN crew and hopefully work will go faster and you will be able to upgrade ur on hangar and stuff faster aswell "after release that is" doing missions as the team CSn are.

Im fairly certain PennDragoon is going for the StarFarer still and will have similar crew size on that one too. And even if you wanna do multicrew missions with ur own ship we will still need backup ships if we get attacked. Starfarer will refine and collect fuel, = sell = profit = gain for the whole Corp.
Banu Merchantman ^^ Is the biggest alien trader that also can land on planets and have a sell and buy station on the ship. So basicly Starfarer can collect fuel and we can sell it right away through the ship.
If im correct that is. However, we are becoming solid for start when the game is done. Sadly its still far off to wait. They are releasing each update for testing in batches basicly and usually it takes around 3 months per each.

Now in December 2.6 will release and include Star Marine that will be a test bed for FPS shooting in game testing weps and damage states etc.
In that update among other things several new weapons will come out and different grenades and armors sets will be tested I assume.

After that 3.0 will come that will flesh out the first working solar system and include different testing for cargo, trading etc.
And each update after that will flesh out new features like 3.3 I think will have mining/fuel etc.

4.0 is will be the last one.

Made a reddit post in hope to gain some more ppl. I know many are waiting until the game is finished aswell but could be good trying to get some more fresh ppl in aswell before start.
The more the merrier right :)

https://www.reddit.com/r/Starcitizen_guilds/comments/5hvy1v/cosmic_starsystems_join_here_tradeexplore_res/

Right now its closely to release 2.6 probably on Friday this week. First Person Shooter - Alpha testing. Star Marine!

After that comes 3.0 the most exiting update atleast for me and the corp in general. Trading physics will be implemented in that one.

Balu out!

Oh my bad. To clarify, those expensive ones include other ships that you can buy ingame later anyway. What you pay now is also to contribute to fund the game.
The packages I presented in the picture is what you need. I would go with either ship in the green box I made. You get both Singleplayer 3 episodes and Star Citizen Multiplayer game for like 10 bucks more than to buy for example Squadron 42 (SP) later you basicly have to pay for another game in price. 100bucks to buy them separate or buy both right away for 68 now.

Star Citizen Alpha 2.6 has been out for a couple weeks and its been pretty fun so far, if not more refreshing than the last updates. It added the FPS mode with 2 maps and game modes. Pretty fun to fight inside and outside of a space station. The EVA gun fighting is pretty cool with how everything like gunshots and explosions is muffled.

A few changes to the UI have been pretty nice, they really worked on the main menu so it makes it easier to understand and see what modes are available such as the expanded sandbox, Star Marine (FPS), Arena Commander (Dogfighting), and a slightly prettier looking representation at what cities will look like with ArcCorp.

Obviously still some bugs, though I've noticed much more stable frames in the sandbox mode. Game runs smoothly in other game modes as far as the frames per second are concerned.

Thats just a quick summary, more notes are here: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/15646-Star-Citizen-Alpha-26-With-Star-Marine-Available

One of the bigger changes is the switch from CryTeks standalone engine to the Lumberyard engine which also makes use of CryEngine with enhanced server capabilities through Amazon.

Also heres my Cutlass Black in beautiful 4K ^_^

Some nice gameplay with me and penn in 2.6 when we tested the new update.

And agree on ur points, runs pretty good with Lumberyard and amazon servers. Sure still in alpha so are some bugs still but are maybe a year until release anyways.

Next up is 3.0 which I have been looking forward to since I heard about Star Citizen. Also Penn and I can set up the basics better for trading profits etc for the CSn corp.

Testing my X85 :) ^^

Latest small update 2.6.1 made forums for all Corps including ours. It looks like this.
Image

So i just made a basic setup for it. Not really sure how much it will be used. But you can easily see if someone is ingame/online etc as I show on the list on my profile pic.
We can do big mission planning here I guess and also have a chat for us to use. Im pretty sure when we will do multi crew missions we probably will use Discord/Mumble kinda thing.
I think they will implement area talk at a later point so you can talk ingame like that.

Star Marine is pretty fun actually. Still glitches but its going forward.

Next up is 2.6.2. Not 100% sure wth that was but fuck it. Im waiting for the one after it. 3.0.

I think the biggest thing spectrum has going for it is the ability to chat to players in game from the browser. Whether or not it's implemented cleanly will determine if its used over teamspeak or discord.

Yeah its kinda neat its gonna implemented ingame actually and having access to info there while ingame.
But before release we will have to use teamspeak/discord/mumble until they add ingame voice.

As far I as I understand if that still is the goal you will be able to have area talk. So you can talk with other ppl ingame in ur crew but also sneak listen to ppl in the cities.
Its still to early to say yet how they are gonna go but still cool.

Also man im so excited for 3.0, I want it naow. 2.6.3 released this weekend a small fix update for 2.6.2 so now only 3.0 and all the implementation of more planets, stations, mining etc.

Cargo will be interesting as fuck cause some cargo will be handled with automatic but some cargo you actually need to move by hand from outside the ship in to the cargo bay in the ship and the other way around when loading it off aswell. I really wanna go around in my ship and find shit. Stock cargo size is 13-23 cargo units, I can have 5000+ inside my ship, finding around in it will be awesome the first time. Probably takes like 2min going from the entry and to get to the cockpit. Hype!

Image

How to drive 800+ tonnes without cargo will be challange by itself.
I got plenty of space for CSn crew.

So I found this list of confirmed Jobs "classes" you can work/play as.

Professions Coming Soon (3.0 and on)
Trading / Cargo Hauling
Mining
Merc / Escort
Bounty Hunter
Military
Pirate

Future Professions
Exploration
Repair
Tuning / Engineering
Medical
Salvage
Info Running / Hacking
Racing
Farming
Passenger Transport / Taxi driver
Espionage
Science & Research
Search & Rescue
News Reporter
Barista
Refueling
Archaeology
Space Tourist
Translator
Sataball Player
Ship Delivery

This is only the main purpose jobs for depending mainly on what ship you own. If you work on these ships even more "classes" come up.
For example Search & Rescue, space ambulance, work as a pilot, co pilot, medic, safety.
Bigger ships will need medics, cargo worker, engineer, co-pilot, the dude handling the shields, turret guy, spaceship busdriver and so on.
The list is massive really on all the options you will be able to do.

Just to give you guys a hint whats cooming. Hopefully the next major update wont be postponed more and will then be released around end August and will be the test base for Cargo etc that stand above.

If your curious more closely what all these jobs mean can get a more detailed info about each on this site where I found it.

I've never been familiar with Star Citizen before, but I sure do like open world exploration that's modern tech. Anyway how I shall get started in this group?

Well first you need a gamepackage "buying the game" But no rush yet unless your fine with playing updates and testing the game until its done. Then you can join the CSn Corp me and Penndragoon made for us until that time.
https://robertsspaceindustries.com/orgs/SANDVICH

Beginning August 3.0.0 will go live which will open up the world as it is right now. We will be able to test transporting, cargo and so on.

Trading / Cargo Hauling
Mining
Merc / Escort
Bounty Hunter
Military
Pirate

What is mayor about this update is these things above, but also the start testing to fly from space down moons "planets will come later" to explore crashed ships etc doing missions and so on. And no loading screens while doing it.

So if you have no problem with that buy a package like this: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/Packages/Mustang-Alpha-Star-Citizen-Squadron-42-Combo or
this https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/Packages/Aurora-MR-Star-Citizen-Squadron-42-Combo

Why it says combo is Star Citizen is the open world galaxy when its finished. Squadron 42 is singleplayer story that include 3 episodes of it.

This is what Star Citizen is going to be all about. Multicrew gameplay, doing exploring, missions of all kinds together with ur friends. And this is just a small touch of the game. Me and others helping SuperMacBro out on his stream.
