Warmahordes?!

Does anyone play Warmahordes? I recently started trying to play miniature games and decided that Circle Orboros really fit me. Since I'm broke though I only have the faction book and the deck of stat cards and have been learning rules primarily from my friends that have been playing for a few years. Has anyone tried these games before? What factions do you guys play? Does anyone use Vassal to practice?

This isn't a video game. It's a real life game. It's a bit like Warhammer 40k where you have a miniature army on a tabletop and you compete with your enemy for whatever (Control points, kill the enemy leader, etc.). It's really fun and when you get the models painted your whole army can look really cool and really intimidating. Each army has a "gimmick" of sorts. Like Cygnar excels at ranged combat, Trollbloods are extremely hard to kill, Circle Orboros is incredibly mobile, etc.
