Anyone played this? Looks really interesting.

EDIT: A friend whose opinion I trust in video game matters says it's an abomination of game design. Yet I think it still looks good.... if anyone tries it and loves it, let me know.

One of my friends has been drooling over it, havent gotten a chance to ask him about it or head to his place to try it.

Really the "squad" thing is what turns me off from it personally.

Btw Smee, what aspects made it terrible in game design from your friends view?

Here is his Steam review:
"Bad design, bad gameplay and no redeeming qualities. Its quoted at 30-40 hours and I was 10 hours in with 0 fun in sight, very grindy, very easy, nothing at all like a roguelike. It's basically a post-apocalyptic eastern rpg, super bland story/lore/game world. It doesn't run on Windows XP either, at all."

We both appreciate roguelikes for their high difficulty and permadeath, so he's scared me away from buying it, for now anyway. Take his comments with a grain of salt, of course. He might just be overly critical.

I think it looks like a cool game, and I would buy it. I've never seen a game like this before. A adventure, RPG, squad-based, action game, which makes it very unique. If I had the money, I would buy it and suggest it to everyone. If I were you, I'd buy it. :D
Hey. I like ponies. And mustaches. And ponies with mustaches.

And read Homestuck:http://www.mspaintadventures.com/
And pay money to Andrew Hussie through this to make Homestuck a game: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/142 ... nture-game
