Well, I just beat it a few minutes ago, so I'll give my two cents on the game.
On one hand, its an extremely well developed game, taking pages out of Zelda for the theme, and it will be very entertaining for quite a while. The level layouts are very well thought out, (By that, I mean COMPLETELY RANDOM) and bosses are very original.
On the other hand THIS GAME WILL MAKE YOU ITS BITCH. By that I mean this game can either be laughingly easy (I beat the game with a combo of 9-Volt, Battery, Brimstone, Lord of the pit, and deck of cards, which essentially makes you a flying, lazer breathing, card producing demon.) or BALLS TO THE WALL HARD. Some bosses are completely unfair with their abilities unless you have certain items to counter them.
The game is hilarious at points (Like Vetos' said, there is nothing more hilarious than seeing some poor boy running around with lipstick and a bra on his head) and frustrating at others. It can be a great time waster, but don't think because your new the game will be easy on you. IT WONT >:D
It has amazing graphics as well, taking pages from super meat boy's color scheme and character shading (Extremely bolded outlines, kinda cartoony.) Some of the items in it are original, while others are very copied off other games (There is a 1-Up Mushroom in it, after all.)
In a nutshell/TL;DR - If Super Meat Boy was Mario's Hell, this is Zelda's Hell.
