What do you think of Duke Nukem Forever? I played the demo, and I can honestly say I would buy it for it's comedic value and it's comedic value alone. I wouldn't even try to "play" it, I would just screw around until I got bored. According to this review, it pretty much sucks, and isn't even worth it.

It's comedic value is very poor. The jokes about the women on the alien spaceship were in extremely bad taste, even for Duke Nukem. Even if DNf took only 2-3 years to make, it would suck. However, that 14-year wait time made it even worse. It's not really Gearbox's fault, more like the 3D Realms devs dicking around for a decade and a half. There really wasn't much the house of Borderlands could do.

I've played the demo when it first game out, and I lost all desire for buying the game. (at least at full price) I'll just stick to Duke Nukem 3D if I want to kick alien ass without any gum. (it's $6 at GOG.com)

I played DNF just after it came out when I was visiting family. I thought it was decent. Not great by any stretch, not worth 14 years of waiting, but the character of Duke was fun and the gameplay was at least fun. But man, I think people may have been too harsh on it. I played Chronicles of Riddick a few years ago, and I think it's the worst piece of shit I've ever played. And other people were giving it 9/10 reviews.
