Terraria Server

I intermittently host a Terraria server on my local machine. For the weekend, I will probably run is near constantly, so hop on and give it a try

24.150.22.127

No password.

This is mostly just to see how it impacts my internet connection. I may or may not be on. Have fun, don't grief other people.

Also, no promises that it wont go down suddenly, as it is just a local internet connection.

I tried to connect but with no luck. Are you sure it's configured properly?

Its not always on, I'm afraid. Still trying to get a feel on how it impacts my system. Seems to be not terrible, but the lag gets pretty bad after a time.

In any case going up this evening.

One important fact to remember when hosting a server at home is bandwidth. My laptop can run a CS:S server fine hardware-wise, but because of my upload speed being low, I can't hold many people without everyone experiencing a lot of lag. There are many sites out there to test your bandwidth. Having it increased is as simple as calling your ISP and asking for an increase, but it costs a lot more a month depending on how much you have.

I think I can see your server on, it's just that your computer isn't responding when I try to join. Have other people been able to connect?
