Well I have an EVO 4G but some games I enjoy on android (that also exist in the Apple App Store) are;

Angry Birds (Basically you shoot birds at a fort and try to kill the enemies, and there are many types of ammunition [birds]).
Doodle Jump (It's simplicity matches its addictive-ness. You're a little green alien and you have to get a high as you can but jumping on platforms. There are power-ups to collect and enemies to dodge.)
Mega Jump (Similar to Doodle Jump. Instead of an alien you are a little red monster and instead of platforms there are coins and power-ups the propel you upward.) *I actually like this more than Doodle Jump*
Cut The Rope (A puzzle game where you have to feel a monster with candy on a rope(s) and well you have to CUT them.)
Fruit Ninja (Slice Fruit that fly across the screen with your finger. Theres a high score mode and a timed mode. Lots of unlockables!)

Angry Birds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNNzRyd1xz0
Doodle Jump http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T21smgZnqQ8
Mega Jump http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYM7lwDOCP4
Cut The Rope http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xPUdFaraoQ
Fruit Ninja http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kMTFFgMPI8

PS - Android > iOS ;)

Civilization Revolution: A straight port of the great console spin-off.
GTA Chinatown Wars: It may be a little jarring playing a top-down GTA like the original's, but if you haven't played it on the DS or PSP, get it. Controls get a tad frustrating, but only while driving. Plus, you can put your own music in the game.
Sonic 1 & 2: I don't need to convince you to get this, do I?

Oh, and if you've jailbroken your iPod, get the $6 NES emulator. Well worth it. Much better than the free alternatives.

Rolando--I don't generally buy games for my iPod, but this one I just had to get. It's got great Box2D physics, and innovative gameplay (which is quite extensive actually), good replayability (time challenges etc) and even a decent little cute story.
Peggle--You must know this game from Peggle Extreme. The port is quite nice and not too expensive, and it works well as a mobile game. Don't get it if you already have peggle on PC though as there's nothing different about it.

Well, that's about it for the paid apps I got on my iPod, other than Wolfram|Alpha but I somehow doubt you'll be interested in that.

I can also vouch for Mega Jump, pretty amusing and a good time waster.

Thanks to everyone that replied I will say a few things though

-When I bought Infinity Sword I thought it was just a giant cut scene. Little did I know the graphics are AMAZING on it. It almost looks like a PS2 game (and for an iPhone, that's saying something)

-I already have Rolando Benny, but should I purchase Rolando 2 as well?

-Bought Angry Birds, was thinking about it for a long time, but decided to take the risk (not really its 1 dollar and it has 4 1/2 stars :|) and it again, is an awesome time waster.

-What does GTA: Chinatown Wars play like? Is it almost exactly like GTA San Andreas or 4? I'm thinking about it but 5 dollars (As long as I buy it before Feb. 6) is a pretty heavy price.

13 dollars still left, Keep em coming :D

They say it looks best on iOS 4. (iPhone 4 and iTouch 4) Fun fact: Infinity Blade is the first, and currently the only, iOS game to use Unreal Engine 3.

I've never tried Rolando 2, so I can't say anything about it. Apparently it has 2.5d (sorta like the rolando 1 level chooser screen?) so it could be interesting.
