Possible Virus in tf2

by Agoostus » Thu Sep 25, 2014 8:05 pm

Looks like some tf2 servers are infected. Connecting to these servers will infect your own computer and take down your steam account. This could be a hoax but it's not worth risking. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... ?t=3261584
To caber or not to caber, that is the question.
Seriously though what am I supposed to put here?

The virus in this case would be the hacker hosting a dedicated server that a client would connect to.

Huh. Pretty concerning to a lot of people, considering that you may go onto a custom server only to unknowingly download a trojan onto your comp and have it cause havoc.
Hopefully Volvo will address this issue quickly and effectively.
