Clientside Mute Exist

by Enigma » Sun Aug 12, 2012 2:43 pm

Hello everyone. It seems that a few of our players do not know how to client-side mute specific players. I'm here to remind you how to do so.

Press Esc

Click on Mute Players ( The ear with the X )

Select your target, then click on Mute in-game voice.

*Reminder, if a player is simply talking and has an annoying voice, that's not mic spam.

I find it ridiculous how many people do not know about this. Perhaps we should put it on the MOTDs or something.

People don't know it exists because valve took away HL:DJ, and there has been no need for new players to figure out a way to deal with constant micspammers on poorly moderated servers. This obviously means that HLDJ needs to be put back into all servers as an automatic game feature.

I lost my first trial because of HLDJ. Shit sucked.

Your posting here reminds me just yesterday of that annoying kid on the mic start going off about "Sky does Minecraft" when I mentioned how good of a sniper you were.
