I get it dropped.
I have had a laughing and a high five taunt in my main account, but through a long process in which i sold them as part of a deal to get an unusual... anyway long story short I sold them
Recently I made 2 alts and whenever I feel like getting some drops while playing, I go on one of them on west1.
Within the first 2 hours of idling I had a hat drop on the one I didn't use to play, and just now within 10 hours I got a laughing taunt on the alt i use to play sometimes.
Feeling good as I am on my way to get my taunts back

The past couple of days i have seen lots of taunts drop. Its very odd but i think valve increased the drop rate for those taunts or something like that

In my entire TF2 career, the rarest drops I've ever gotten are 2 name tags, a description tag, and maybe one or two hats. Never a taunt, though.

I've found a TC, Dues specs, 3 name tags, 2 desc. tags, and 2 hi-5 taunts! IN UR FACE!

OMG WITHING 3 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY SINCE THEN I FOUND ANOTHER HIGH FIVE. BOTH TAUNTS WITHIN 3 HOURS. OMG I'M GOING INSANE
