Hey guys,

My friend Captain and I were hoping to put together a roster for some highlander action. Neither of us has ever highlandered before but it sounds fun and it could be fun switch up from our normal pub play. Captain plays Pyro and Demo and I'm a medic.

Please let me know if you'd be interested and what class you'd like to play.

For those that don't know what highlander is it is when each team consists of 9 players and you can only have one of the same class per team. Ie. Highlander, There can be only one!

i guess i'm in a similar position (never played but it sounds fun), as long as you're not looking for anyone super talented i'll give it a shot. i'd prefer scout but if necessary i can do anything other than engie or spy

Awesome, just six more to go. We don't need a full team, but at least 5-6 so we just have to fill up a few spots with PuGs

I'm the aforementioned "Captain", checking in. I main Pyro but am pretty comfy with both Demo and Soldier as need requires.

You can count me in as a tentative spy. I'm totally in if you want, but I've done highlander before, and if someone new wants to try highlander spy, I will happily step down.

I played some highlander just yesterday on TF2Lobby. I generally enjoy playing heavy, but engie and medic work as well.

I'd put myself out there as either pyro, soldier, Eng, Heavy and maybe medic/demo

I've never played highlander but it looks like a lot of fun so I would give it a try. I play mostly pyro, but I'm not incredibly good. I know the basics of all the classes so I guess I could be a back if need be.

I highlander med or engy a lot
I have experience in Heavy, Pyro, Demo (knight in HL for the lols), and Solly.

If you cant find a good Med, Heavy, or Sniper then just give up. HL teams cant do well without them. (that being between teams with the other classes being around the same level)

I play many classes and will be whatever you need. My best classes are pyro, soldier, engi, or heavy.

This thread has more than four posts now, and I just can't count that high. When you get the chance could you edit the top post with what classes are full/ish and who's signed up so we can easily see how many more people need to be shoved in here?

Hi everybody-- glad to see the good response! I'll be in touch with Meto and see if we can get that top post edited with a list of who is down for what classes. After that we'll start gathering everyone as steam friends and hopefully get organized

Ok, I've updated the original post with a tentative roster. We are still in need of a sniper and demo main but other than that looking pretty good.

How many of you are available tonight (Monday the 12th) for some games beginning around 9-10 EST?

My original intention was to find a group of people to lobby with and see what Highlander was about. Just wanted to have fun playing a smidge more serious TF2.
