Anyone else's steam not respond when you try to launch tf2? this irritates me.
Btw the update looks AWESOME! i'm gonna get me a counterfeit billycock. Oh and the other stuff looks absolutely amazing. Cant wait for valve to fix our beloved game.

Yeah, I can boot up steam, but no updates start and TF2 won't move past the gray, Preparing to Start Team Fortress 2 Box. I presume its just the TF2 servers being overloaded with updates being downloaded; I'll have to try again later and see if I can start TF2 downloading

Updates like this always cripple Steam. Is there a reason Valve can't send the update to external services like Filehippo, whom I'm sure would love the site attention, and take some of the load off?

valve should have split this update in 2.
Game update (hat switches, weapon switches, presets, etc) and a few days later, release all the hats.
but it doesnt matter now, everything cooled down and is less buggy.
