it makes your character have no weapon and makes them have their hands by their sides.
they can still move around but cant do anything else.
people used this to grief and be useless

because it's possible to grief in a 1v1 match waiting around for the server to fill up with a friend :/

anyway, I'd rather not get into a debate about the dead...

Oh those guys. I always used them as meat shields when I was running away, or free bonesaw kill.

You would be suprised how much someone would rather chase down and kill a defenseless target than a fully charged medic.

I went civvy all the time back in the day. It's been "dead" many times before; people always find new ways to bring it back.
