eC CEVO update thread

Critsandvich's sponsored tf2 team, enigma corporation, is in CEVO this season. In the off chance you're wondering how we are doing, I'll keep updating this thread through the season to let you know! We won our first preseason match 5-0 on cp_prolane last night, then proceeded to 5-0 the same team again when they asked for a no-consequences rematch on granary. Also, this happened:

one thing you learn very quickly as a scout in 6v6 is that people get really distracted really easily. if there's a single rocket being fired around them, or if you push at the same time as your team, they tend to focus on one thing at a time and it makes your life a lot easier. it's when you're the only person alive and they know where you are--or if you push on them when no one else is--when your chances of living go way down.

lol...I know how 6v6 works and I'm mostly the pocket soldier and when I hear a scout shooting from behind, I turn around and shoot instantly and I'm mostly hitting the scout. But the most soldiers in the clip need a year to turn around and don't hit you. The demo at snakewater also reacts incredible fast.

as far as i know, it's the former. cevo-a has a stupidly large number of teams in it

Thanks. We're currently #2 in CEVO-A, behind Chemical Reaction, which doesn't make sense to me (they've lost more rounds and won fewer rounds than we have. It has to be CPI or something). We're sitting at 14 rounds won and 1 round lost, so hopefully we can continue this streak and do okay on the season!

eC wins 5-2 over a team from argentina that only won two rounds because their 200-ping sniper wiped us at mid then again at last twice. we're now number 1 in CEVO-A!
