Fun Server files

I have a friend who lives out in the sticks, and relies on shitty satellite internet. The ingame d/l rate is poor, and especially so for those with a bad ISP. So would it possible to gather all the fun server files (maps, etc.) in one location for convenience's sake? He could d/l the file while he was at work, for example.
