Pyro Homewrecker

It does not seem to work for me.
yesterday in slaybox i was playing sentry nest defense as pyro, and the homewrecker didnt hit off sapers.
this made Patrid loss some of his buildings many times

halp fix buy buying box of donuts for Gabe!

but seriously, anyone else have this problem?

Haven't tried the homewrecker in a while. I'm going to hit the slaybox when I get home, so I'll give it a test.

It has made campy pyros the very bane of my existance, ( scoots harboring a long-earned and slight second ), and I know it -should- work, because someone whacked off my sappers yesterday with it. Takes two hits with the homewrecker, maybe we should pop in an empty server and test yours?

yea its only one hit with the homewrecker. but i was smacking the building a good 3 to 5 times but it would just blow up

Did they make it so the homewrecker can only take the sapper off one end of a teleporter? Although I'm betting that's not your issue.

It has always been this way.

And if I recall, this is how it was for the engineer at the very beginning.

your sentry was in a important spot. so you needed back up pryo

Any chance you weren't hitting the right building? I mean, not to insult you, but if you were hearing hit sounds, it could have been a dispenser or nearby metal object… otherwise looks like it was a terrible night to have a curse if you know what I mean.

Homewrecker is pretty amazing at defense. Pair it with anything but the backburner, and there's really not much that can take down your buddy's sentry nest if you're good at airblasting. Especially if that sucker's Wrangled.
