Audicity, WAV converting Help

by Repoman » Thu Dec 16, 2010 5:03 pm

I have been able to convert MP3 files to play in HLDJ but I cant seem to maintain decent audio quality. Is there any way to make it so the WAV files actually sound good, or is there a better conversion software that makes WAVs sound better other than Audicity?

Any help would be appreciated.

The way I did it was use Audacity to convert to mp3, then use HLDJ's built-in mp3 audio conversion software, and...while it's not great quality, it's better than the devault WAV shit audacity shoves out. I know there's a way to make the WAV conversion settings in audacity work properly for HLDJ, but I never bothered to learn them.

You have to set the bitrate for 11025Hz or else it won't work.

I think the bitrate makes all my MP3 songs sounds really really bad.

And the HJDJ converter doesnt even do its job correctly.
