I need somebody's help with a video I can't seem to make.

Ok, so I recorded a demo of that first game with the melee mod enabled and it was pretty funny. So, when I tried to make the avi through TF2, it wouldn't make the file for some reason. Maybe it's the codec installed on the computer. I've tried installing new ones, like CCCP, put they won't show up in my codec list in either VirtualDub or TF2. At this point I am so damn frustrated I don't even want to deal with this crap any more. So, can someone either tell me what I'm doing wrong or just take the .dem file and just make it for me? I am so sick and tired of this and Nuclear really wants this video uploaded.

If you have a bunch of space on your hard drive the easiest way is to just render to TGA's from TF2 (it's faster too) and load them into virtual dub. Then, I've had the best experiences with rendering to the XVid codec in Virtualdub, and it looks good on Youtube as well.

My hard drive space is rapidly dwindling, so I don't think I have enough left.

I think I'll just do that. If you give me an email to send it to, I can get it to you that way.

Alternatively the XVid codec should work directly from the AVI dialog in tf2 when rendering a demo.

Tried that to no avail.
