Slay1 is down, Slay2 is empty. So I thought I'd poke around some random pubs for a bit. Man, everyone else's servers suck. They're either idling, some weird combination of maps rotating, or are overmodded to the point of just plain annoying. My fps dropped to about 10 on one because of all the shit going on serverside. So I'd just like to thank and appreciate all the people of CritSandvich who work to make this community just plain awesome. Perfect servers, perfect service, wonderful community. A few spats, but overall we're a pretty tight-knit group.

Sorry I'm out of ideas. It's something before plugins/mods and that is out of my expertise.
I've e-mailed benny but in case he doesn't get it.
Tried removing metamod to run the server clean. Still crashes on any RCON input/map change.
CP maps server is unaffected.

Play on the randomizer server, which isn't randomizer until someone else can look at it.

would just like to point out ... that its nice to have ppl who care enough to fix problems here .... on lotus i played on stocks 4 .... one day we were at pipeline .... and spent 4 months there until mana fixed it .... 4 f'n months .... the cart fell off the map so no-one could win ....

First, I want to apologize since it was definitely totally my fault that the servers were down (though I'd love to lay some blame on Valve for not having better sanity checking...).

To explain about what happened: The pure server whitelist I was trying to set up had some errors and was in the wrong place. I thought it was working, until someone informed me that the server was complaining about a missing whitelist. After looking, I realized I had changed the wrong file, and moved the whitelist to the correct file. The servers seemed to be accepting the file (the maps were running and everything seemed good) so I went to bed (as it was about 3AM or so and the servers were empty).

Then, today, I was traveling back to my dorms so was unavailable to hear about the crashes I had caused. Anyway, it's all fixed up, and I've posted over in the server support forum about my troubles in the hopes that someone like me will read it and not have the same problem.

I'm really happy that people think our setup is superior--it's always been a big goal of mine to be a part of a tf2 community and make the servers as awesome as possible.

Yeah, thanks to the administration team. You all do a great job here and this community is quite enjoyable and nice too. I hope to remain here for quite some time, long enough to surpass Zclipse and Chuck Norris. :3

By the way, even though I did pay my small donator part, I never used any advantage of the donator status and didn't even want to learn how to (I f***ing don't care about advantages). I really just wanted to give a little something to this place I enjoy so much, thanks to your work. :3

I literally only play TF2 now from 2PM to 5PM on the weekdays. Why? That's the only time people play here when I am able to.

if theres no one in slayboxes i usually jump into trade servers, or play L4D. haha never played in another server in quite a while
