Hai thar! If you've already made a visit to our Fun Server, just disregard this, but for those of you haven't, come play sometime! You can use Benny's new custom UI [ viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1300 ], to find the fun server, or you can click the server link on the main CSn page for the IP. Or if that's just too much to ask, here it is! Add it to your favorites: critsandvich.com:27015
How we roll in the funbox:
Pyro Dodgeball
Preeeeeetty self-explanatory. You're a pyro. Everyone's a pyro. There are rockets. Lots of rockets. Pyro-seeking rockets. Don't blow up or fall off the edge, and you win! Weeeeeeeeeee FUNSPLOSION
Vs. Saxton Hale
Red vs. Blue arena-style match, where BLU consists of but one player: Saxton Hale himself. Red runs around trying to bring down the ~2000 HP Mann Co. mastermind, who sprints around the map like a gawddang cheetah, laying waste to RED with his mean one-hit-kill right hook and mighty area-effect stunning taunt.
Fort Wars
Akin to KOTH, except there's no hill; teams compete to see who can hold the intelligence until time runs out. It's played on a wide-open map, and before the round starts, players spend $$$ (earned getting kills and cap points) to place props to create an impenetrable fort. (Well.. no fort is impenetrable. *revs Sasha*)
Zombie Fortress
My personal favorite. RED = survivors. BLU = zombies. Zombies only have melee weapons and support-style secondary items like Bonk! and the Sandvich. Survivors try to last until time runs out, but with every fallen RED player adding to the zombie ranks, teamwork is paramount. All players choose from a list of ~20 team-specific perks, which offer players new active and passive abilities like toxic vomit (zombies) or increased run/fire speed (survivors). Or if you're a bloody coward like me, go Soldier, take the Ninja perk (no fall damage, increased jump + decoy ability) with the rocket jumper, and fear no zombie! ...Except a Spy with the Leap perk.
Other stuffs!
We have several quirky custom maps, and the list is getting bigger. Ever wondered what it'd be like to double-jump across the rooftops of Kakariko in the SNES classic Link to the Past (complete with authentic music omfgz)? Then get your hindquarters in the funbox!
