Important update: Today after speaking for 20 mins at a conference, a Canadian professor asks where I'm from. When I say N. Ireland, he says 'Oh I thought you were American.' -_- My music teacher in school thought I sounded so American that she would repeat back to me what I said in an American accent, and at the SAME time, a bunch of people tell me I sound super Irish (normally non irish euros or muricans) and then other europeans tell me I have a really 'neutral' accent. Eeeh you sound massivly irish. Its like I dont sound Swedish. Our accents break through sound barriers. :) But in the other hand, he was a professor, and Canadian ;)
