I don't think I can be a fan anymore

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

Can't wait for that sequel to the Star Wars Christmas Special now, after all of these years. (not)

Disney's owned Marvel for years now. Check the date of that news report. They've done just fine with that so far, look at all of the great shit that's come out since then. Hell, Sony still owns the rights to Spider-Man, and that's why we got that god awful piece of monstrous shit that came out this summer.

I don't mind Disney buying Lucasarts so much as I mind the idea of there being an Episode VII, unless it follows the story line of the Jedi Knight video game series which has been considered canon for a long time, much like KOTOR is considered canon.
I play Scout and Medic a lot.

It could be a good thing to see a few new star wars movies not made by Lucas. Like some independent stories and such.

I don't know how to feel about Episode VII, but I'm pretty sure I won't be seeing that. At least not until I hear things about it. Also, since most people set Episodes 1-3 apart from 4-6, should we set 7-? aside from both, or just from 4-6?

Empire Strikes Back is easily the best by a huge margin and the only movie worth your time :geek:

And Lucas didn't write it, what a coincidence

The more important thing is that he didn't direct it. He still wrote the underlying story, just not the script.

And if they do more movies, they had better be based of these books: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thrawn_trilogy

I'd rather see them do the Jedi Knight games...

i would rather them just the the franchise just die ... all they are doing at this point is trying to milk it for every cent they can ... after episode 1 came out they shoulda realized ... no one was impressed ... and left it to die ... instead ... as fans we got 3 things to be ashamed of ...

I'd hate to see the franchise die. It created such a rich, expansive world to tell stories in. There's so much more you can do with the concept of Jedi and the force, the books and games prove it. The difference is that this isn't restricted to a set canon of books like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.

Its not like StarWars has done anything good in the last 20 years anyway, a side from a few games ofc.
