Humiliation originated from I think Quake or Unreal Tournament, and it's basically melee kills for the purpose of reducing someone's score. (or in the case of Gun Game, to drop someone's level)

I remember it from Quake 3 for what it's worth.

That basically sums up anytime I try to play a game on Xbox Live. I tend to stick to PSN for console online gaming now simply because most people don't have mics (especially young kids) because they don't include one in the box. You have to buy a Bluetooth or USB one. Not that I play much online stuff on consoles since Warhawk has basically died and Starhawk hasn't succeeded in pulling in a decent userbase.
