Convince me this is a bad idea.

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

Convince me this is a bad idea.

I have wanted to get a tattoo for a long time now, and being a massive nerd I've wanted to get one video game related. I want one that isn't obvious, and that looks cool in and of itself.

I think I've finally found it.

As I've made clear by now, Morrowind has always been my all time favorite game, so I wanted to get something related to it. I didn't want to get the moon and star or the Imperial symbol on the cover, those were too obvious. I've decided that I want to get the House Hlaalu symbol. It was my favorite faction, the symbol is cool in and of itself and it's the subtle reference that if somebody knows what it's from, it would be really cool.

This is the symbol. I'm thinking I'll get a friend who can draw to etch it so it will look better, or just pay the tattoo artist to do it custom for me. In fact, if anybody here is artistic and would be willing to give it a shot, I would love you forever. I'm even considering getting "Hlaalu" written underneath in Daedric lettering, although that may or may not be over doing it.

I am, of course, at the point where this is the greatest idea I've ever had. I wanted some insite: am I awesome or stupid?
I play Scout and Medic a lot.

Tattoos will look good until you get old and wrinkly.

You did say to convince you, after all.

Remember when Pokemon was popular?
Yea, that was a thing.

Also, Schwartz is considering a tattoo, so that should be all the proof you need to not get one.

Oh, you're so funny Patrid.

Yea I'm thinking about getting one, idk yet. It's up to you dude. Who knows, maybe someone else would know what it means, to other ppl it looks like a Libra Scale. It looks pretty cool. If you want it, go for it.

Plus, everyone in Wisconsin knows that the best tattoo to get is your favorite bible verse inked down the side of your rib cage. A cross with wings is a good call, too

Well, nothing looks particularly good when you're old and wrinkly, and with the whole Army thing, chances are good I won't get to that point anyway.

I'm really not worried about waking up one day and no longer liking it. Morrowind meant a lot to me growing up. Everybody thinks of their favorite book or fairly tale when they think of being young, I think of Morrowind. Maybe I came accross as nonchelant with the "nerd" comment, but it is more to me than that.

If everyone loved the english language as much as you love abusing it, the world would be a better place.

If I were ever to get a tattoo it would be something simple and geometric.
