How bad is your hearing?

by GoDM1N » Wed Aug 08, 2012 7:35 pm

Way it works is to start on the highest frequency and keep going up until you hear a tone. The higher the frequency the better.

I can clearly hear up to 19, but can still barely hear all of them. Which is cool, I always thought my loud music did way more damage to my ear drums. :)
I play Scout and Medic a lot.

I can hear up to 18khz perfectly. 19khz and i can barely hear it if at all. All i hear is the ending sound of the tune going off, so that doesnt really count. I have Beats and I play guitar and listen to dubstep, of course my hearing is going to be total shit. I'm surprised I'm not deaf as it is

I can barely hear 16, but that's only the high end measurement. I routinely hear people talking softly across the room, which annoys the crap out of some people.

Holy crap i can hear to 21. Apparently years of being on stage haven't completely killed my hearing. Also explains that my wife is always talking to me in 22hz. I can never hear her... From the kitchen.

I actually bought some of these so I can block out all sound so my hearing will be better later in life.

Buy the nicer ones. usually have those interchangable plugs in the the plug itself. The foam plugs don't protect certain frequencies (like ones you probably can't hear anymore) and you can still get damaged without realizing it. Trust the pro musician.
