I have decided that if I ever get another dog it's gonna be a Cardigan Welsh Corgi. They look like awesome dogs.

They're a lot of work. Corgis are hunting/herding dogs and have the energy the back it up. They're basically big dogs in little packages and act like it. Also, if someone is "off" about their surroundings (weird noises, etc) they will bark nonstop trying to alert you to it

That's why it's an if. I forsee myself living in apartments for most of my life. If I ever have children though I'm sure the dog will delight in herding them into their little play corrals.

The same thing can be said for Beagles. Sweetest dogs you'll ever meet, but my god can they howl. And not bark, howl.

Also, Dauchsands, but it's much easier to get them to stop barking.
