Post your specs.

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

Post your specs.

A geek/nerd is only as good as his computer, so post your specs here.

Me? Well it's not the best, but she serves me well enough for TF2.

Best headset i've ever gotten. It's taken a beating and the mic/headphones still work flawlessly. it's also cheaper than some of their other products but... deathadder is their best mouse, it's also one of the cheapest lol

oh and it's also really comfortable and light

I've got a wonderful homebuilt machine running from a beautiful case that says AMTAC on it that I found in the garbage. It's certainly no beast.

Windows 7 64-bit
4GB (Some sort of average-to-slow memory)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5400+ 2.94GHz
250 GB slowish SATA hard drive (windows gets 186GB, linux gets the rest)
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512
Some DVD drive I found with the case
A Logitech 5.1 speaker system (Z506) (the speakers buzz because of some idiot sound engineers who thought making the back speakers emit some crap when only front speakers have sound should be a 'virtual surround sound feature'--really, it's listed on the box, and it's not a flaw, the RMA I got had the same problem, and there's no way to turn it off)
Creative Fatal1ty gaming headset (got it on sale for $30)
A nice monitor (Alienware 2310)

Certainly not worth bragging about but it works for tf2 and pretty much all the other games I have (since my CPU and prehaps memory is the bottleneck, TF2 is the most problematic of them all, even though I have Mass Effect 2, which runs perfectly on all high).

I guess you'd call me the typical Pennysaver Geek. I only upgrade when absolutely necessary or insane deals happen. This is the second iteration of this same tower (my first PC tower ever <3)

AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 5000+ ~2.6GHZ
4.00GB DDr3 RAM
HD 3870 Sapphire radeon Video Card 512MB GDDR3
288GB HD
Windows Vista

My processor is great with multimedia/streaming but sucks arse w/ gameplay (i.e. I lagg like a m'f' here and there).
Thinking about getting a better processor and crossfiring my two identical gfx cards, but unfortunately that involves work  .

i7 @ 3.5 GHZ
6 GB DDR3-16000
4870
80 GB Raptor 10k

I've been impressed with the Roccat Cave 7.1 headset I got a few months ago. Expensive, but I wanted something that was both comfortable and functional. They're quite good, just need to work so I don't deafen myself :/.

But I can get more done on my Linux x4 that's (at the moment) 4000MHz faster.

That said, I think we can both agree we both need more RAM.

Yes, more ram would be lovely to have. Its a bit spendy though at times for the fancy ram chips.
